Certified Nursing Assistant – Acute Care

P3CD is a high paced 29-bed medical surgical unit that provides exceptional care for general medical surgical adult patients before and after surgical procedures. Our team plays a vital role in patient safety, comfort, and overall outcomes. Our nursing staff have created a culture of teamwork and collaborative skills, good communication with patients and their families, compassionate care, and cultural sensitivity. P3CD supports shared governance and empowers staff in their pursuit of excellence and professional development.

Summary: This position consists of 36 hours per week, night shifts. The Certified Nursing Assistant – Acute Care role assists in the administration of nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect care duties.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Certified Nursing Assistant required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
3. Experience: Relevant experience preferred.
