Major Duties Duties are listed at the GS-12 grade level.Develops, designs, and modifies civil engineering plans and specifications for new construction and maintenance.Serves as Engineering Representative (ER) or Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).Provides direction to others in the principles of planning, designing, operation, maintenance, monitoring, and inspection of engineering projects.Responsible for contract compliance on assigned projects.Implements and executes project plans for the engineering program area(s) assigned.Coordinates the assigned program(s) and plans with other resource management functions, monitors the accuracy of plans, policies, programs, and administration .Is responsible for final evaluation reporting and recommendations on all administrative aspects of the assigned program of work.As a senior engineer, is responsible for training other engineers and technicians in all aspects of engineering, e.g., design, operation, maintenance, monitoring etc. Education See above for education that may be qualifying for the GS-11 grade level.
