Role Description The Export Coordinator is a full‑time, on‑site role based at our facility in Rantoul, IL. This position is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and managing export documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with international regulations and customer requirements. The role coordinates with freight forwarders, ocean carriers, and logistics partners to schedule shipments, track orders, and resolve any transport or documentation issues. The Export Coordinator communicates regularly with customers, internal departments, and regulatory agencies to provide shipment updates, respond to inquiries, and support a smooth export process. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining detailed records, updating internal systems, monitoring deadlines, and supporting continuous improvement in export operations and customer service. Qualifications Strong export operations skills, including experience with Export Documentation and understanding of Export regulations and requirements. Knowledge of international shipping and logistics, particularly coordination with ocean carriers and freight forwarders. Effective communication and customer service skills to interact with customers, colleagues, and external partners in a professional, timely manner. High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously. Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., MS Office) and the ability to learn export or ERP systems. Experience in food, agriculture, or manufacturing export environments is preferred but not required. Ability to work on‑site in Rantoul, IL, and collaborate effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
