Must-Have Skills

Look for candidates with:

• 6+ years in Software Development, Data Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• AWS Data Services (3+ years):
• S3
• Glue
• Lambda
• Event-driven architectures
• Python (3+ years hands-on) and preferably PySpark .
• SQL databases and data management experience.
• CI/CD and DevOps experience.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

Profiles with any of the following will be stronger:

• Snowflake
• Snowpark
• Snowflake Cortex
• Data transformation and ETL pipelines
• APIs and Microservices
• Distributed systems architecture
• AI/Generative AI exposure on Snowflake/AWS platforms
• Commission, incentives, residual payments, or finance domain experience.

Candidate Profile Summary

An ideal candidate would be:

A 6+ year Data Engineer/Developer with strong AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda), Python/PySpark, SQL, ETL pipeline development, CI/CD experience, and preferably Snowflake exposure. Experience building cloud-based data ingestion and transformation pipelines is more important than traditional application development.

Given your context, I would prioritize candidates from banking, fintech, payments, data platforms, commissions/incentives systems, or financial reporting platforms , as the role supports residual payment calculations and reporting solutions
