Position Overview:

The Janitor is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of all common areas within the homeowner's association (HOA) or condominium community. This position helps ensure a clean, welcoming, and well-maintained environment for residents and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitizeinterior and exteriorcommon areas, including lobbies,fountains,hallways, elevators, clubhouses, fitness centers, restrooms,poolareas, stairs, landings,access area,securitycamerasandequipment.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and surfaces.
Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.
Clean windows, glass doors, mirrors, and other fixtures.
Maintain outdoorcommon areasby removing litter and keeping walkways, entrances, and recreational areas clean.
Restock restroom andcleaningsupplies as needed.
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, vandalism, or damage to management promptly.
Assistwith setting up and cleaning up community events, as requested.
Operate andmaintaincleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
Follow all safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Property Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.
Light maintenance
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previousjanitorial or custodial experience is preferred.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Ability tolift upto 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and climbing stairs.
Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct.
Basic communication skills in English (bilingual is a plus).

Work Environment:

Indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions.
May require occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays based on community needs.
Use of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and personal protective equipment (PPE) asrequired.

Sunday to Thursday - 9am to 5pm
