What you’d do on a typical day: Support operations by moving material and inventory throughout the facility Use hand trucks,conveyorsor other material handling equipment Perform duties that may include packing, scanning,kittingor counting products Verify orders, labelproductsand use a handheld scanner Adhere to the 7S program Maintain a clean environment at all times Work in a safe manner that protects you and your team members What you need to succeed at GXO: At a minimum,you’llneed: To be at least 18 years of age The ability to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operatinginstructionsand procedural documents It’d be great if you also have: 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment Availability to work a flexible schedule, includingpossible overtimewhen needed Experience using a handheld scanner Positive attitude and the ability to work in a team to achieve goals andobjectives This job requires the ability to: Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 lbs.
