ICU Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ICU RN will provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients, working in a fast-paced and challenging environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver specialized nursing care to patients in the intensive care unit.Monitor patients' vital signs and changes in condition, reacting swiftly to medical emergencies.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care.Shift InformationSchedule: Night shifts, 3x12-hour rotations (19:00 - 07:00).Weekend requirements: Yes, every other weekend.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred.Must possess and maintain current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.EKG exam required; candidates must pass without exceptions.Must be willing to float within scope to meet facility needs.Additional InformationGuaranteed hours based on contracted shifts, with a call-off policy of 2 shifts per 13-week assignment.This role requires the RN to be flexible with scheduling and be available to accommodate various needs.Local candidates are not accepted, and there is a 50-mile radius rule from the main site.Return Staff PolicyCandidates must have been absent from employment for at least 1 year to return as a traveler.There is a 2 contract limit; extensions available once, and candidates must wait 6 months to return thereafter.Hospital HighlightsType: Short-term acute care facility.Level: III Trauma Center / Teaching Hospital.Total Staffed Beds: 733.Scrub Color: Royal blue and white.Charting System: Epic.If you are a qualified ICU Registered Nurse looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity, we encourage you to apply.
