About This Role The Per Diem RN - Infusion Nurse provides safe, competent, quality care to patients in the Hematology/Oncology department, utilizing nursing theory and research. This role is ideal for nurses seeking flexible work arrangements while delivering specialized care. Highlights Pay: $70/hour Location: Greenlawn, NY Facility: Mount Sinai Health System Department/Unit: North Shore Gen Overhead - OFFS Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift What You'll Do Assist in development, implementation, and evaluation of standards of care. Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care. Provide direct, continuous care for a specific caseload of patients. Coordinate patient care activities, including teaching and discharge planning. Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members. Participate in performance improvement and nursing quality activities. Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan and implement patient care. Conduct discharge phone calls on selected patients. Maintain clinical competence and professional growth. Treat co-workers, patients, and families with dignity and respect. Requirements Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; Associate degree considered with relevant experience. Experience: Relevant clinical competence in nursing practice assigned. Licenses & Certifications: Current RN License in New York State; Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card; BLS from AHA.
