Registered Nurse (RN) - CVOR

General Information

Unit: CVOR - 4th Floor

Scheduling Requirements: Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Role Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will perform critical duties in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR), including:

Scrubbing cardiac cases requiring bypass and related mediastinal procedures.
Assisting in thoracic surgeries, including daVinci assisted procedures, open thoracotomy, and VATS.
Initiating ECMO and performing pericardial window procedures.
Participating in various cardiac cases such as CABG, valve replacements, aortic dissection repairs, TAVRs, and thoracic surgeries.
Taking call shifts as required, with weekend availability.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess the following:

Two years of experience in a similar role.
Proficient skills in scrubbing cardiac cases.
Ability to take call as needed.

Certifications Required

BLS (Basic Life Support)

Dress Code

Scrubs will be provided by the facility.
