Jr. Estimator / Project Manager

Job Description Our client, a leading manufacturer of custom furniture products based in Chicago, IL, is seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Junior Project Manager / Estimator to join our growing team. This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone with 2+ years of experience in construction or manufacturing who is ready to take ownership of projects from estimation through delivery. Responsibilities Review bid requests, architectural drawings, and blueprints to prepare accurate estimates Collaborate with general contractors, architects, and clients to clarify project scope and requirements Manage projects through all phases of production, from initial planning to final shipping Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met Communicate with vendors and suppliers to source materials and manage procurement Track project progress, resolve issues, and maintain documentation throughout the lifecycle Support continuous improvement efforts in workflow and project execution Skills and Requirements 2+ years of experience in construction, manufacturing, or related field Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and bid documents Strong organizational and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with project management or estimating software a plus Detail‑oriented with a proactive, problem‑solving mindset Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment – Experience with Project Take‑offs We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
