Location: Cedar Hill, TX 75104
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking dependable and safety-focused Swing Forklift Drivers to join our team in Cedar Hill, TX. This position is responsible for operating various types of forklifts to support warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory movement, and order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, or electric pallet jack forklifts.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers accurately and efficiently.
• Transport materials to designated storage, staging, and shipping areas.
• Pick, replenish, and stage customer orders using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
• Perform inventory movements while maintaining accurate product counts and locations.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage, accuracy, and quality.
• Conduct daily forklift safety inspections and report equipment issues immediately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment while following OSHA and company safety standards.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory counts, and other warehouse duties as needed.
• Work collaboratively with warehouse team members to meet daily productivity and customer service goals.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operating experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• Experience operating sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, or cherry picker forklifts is a plus.
• Forklift certification preferred or the ability to become certified.
• Basic computer and RF scanner experience preferred.
• Ability to safely load, unload, and transport palletized products.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform frequent bending, lifting, standing, and walking throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules as needed.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
