A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) located in Rockford, Illinois. This position involves providing patient care in a step-down unit, with responsibilities including managing patients who are post open-heart procedures and possibly requiring drug infusions. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Rockford, Illinois
• Shift: Days, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours, 36 hours per week minimum
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification; experience in a mid-large hospital setting; must reside more than 50 miles from the facility's permanent address; zero years of experience preferred but open to candidates with minimal experience.
• Additional Information: Candidate must be comfortable with patients two days post open-heart surgery; experience managing drips; familiarity with the specific needs of post-operative cardiac patients.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
