About the Position

• Provide safe and effective patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Prepare and maintain the operating room, equipment, and supplies according to surgical case requirements.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic and sterile technique.
• Accurately document all care in Epic EMR.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families.
• Participate in required on-call rotations and respond within 30 minutes of call-back.
• Assist in orientation or mentoring of new staff or travelers.
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Requirements

• Minimum Experience: 2 years of recent Operating Room experience required.
• Travel Experience: Prior travel experience required.
• Licensure: Active Florida RN or Compact License.
• BLS – Required
• ACLS & PALS – Preferred
• Education:
• Degree accreditation must appear on profile or minimum 5 years of OR experience required.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Epic EMR.
• Required Expertise: Robotic and Orthopedic/Neuro surgery experience.
