Supply Chain Manager Continental 13601 Industrial Parkway, Marysville, OH 43040 Full-time Full job description Your tasks Position Summary: Supply Chain Manager is responsible for leading all supply chain activities within the plant. This role ensures efficient production planning, inventory management, and customer order support while aligning with the plant’s strategic objectives and global supply chain standards.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Plan and control all scheduling activities supporting assigned brands Balance production and inventory levels with demand to support target consistent with customer service levels, inventory turn goals, and capacity utilization/staffing requirements. Develop Sales and Operating Plan summaries for assigned product families and selected product codes, including demand, inventory and production data Develop master production schedules for finished goods and component items based on capacity requirements Calculate the resulting requirements for raw materials, purchased parts and packaging supplies based on MRP methodology Provides daily-bucketed schedules by SKU to manufacturing and installs production compliance metrics to measure performance Coordinate the supply of finished goods to intercompany and distribution centers. Correspond with manufacturing plants, and international affiliates concerning requirements Achieve target customer service levels and inventory turn levels based on forecast error and bias trends, manufacturing capacity/flexibility and customer service and inventory turn goals Review monthly sales forecasts provided by the Plant Manager Monitor monthly feed of sales forecasts to DRP module of SAP Provide Purchasing with requisitions and vendor schedules. Issue a monthly update of quarter-end inventory investment and turn projections for finished goods. Provide unit and dollar value figures along with an analysis of significant changes. Issue actual versus scheduled production metrics weekly and ensure that 95% compliance to schedule is achievable Participate in meetings and keep up to date on issues related to Sales Forecast, Manufacturing, and other issues. Resolve issues by presenting various alternatives for decision at monthly SIOP meetings. Identify materials with no further use and recommend disposition. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field 7 + years of Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing environment Strong ERP and MRP skills. Demonstrated skills in minimizing inventory, raw materials, and WIP Experienced user of computer systems ERP/MRP/ Planning tools Must have strong written and verbal communication skills Must have demonstrated leadership abilities and the ability to manage others. Able to handle conflicts and bring them to an amicable resolution Detail-oriented Ability to follow up and find solutions for material and logistical issues Able to be a change agent in an organization Able to develop strong relationships with customers and suppliers

ADDITIONAL WAYS TO STAND OUT

SAP experience Analytical mindset with attention to detail. Strong knowledge of production planning and control processes. Experience working with sales and order management teams to support customer needs. Expertise in inventory and warehouse management.
