Director of Platform Engineering

To lead the strategy and delivery of enterprise platform capabilities, the full-time salaried Director of Platform Engineering will manage a high-performing team, establish engineering standards, and drive modernization efforts across on-premises, hybrid cloud, and container environments. Key responsibilities Define and execute the enterprise platform engineering strategy, including architecture standards and modernization roadmap Build and develop the Platform Engineering function, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement Deliver reusable platform services and automate infrastructure processes to enhance operational efficiency and reliability Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience 10+ years of experience in enterprise modernization, including automation and hybrid cloud/container platforms Proficiency with OpenShift, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines Experience in establishing engineering standards and technical direction for cloud and container platforms Knowledge of security, compliance, and operational health requirements in platform engineering
