MRI Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights: Wednesday to Friday, 17:00 - 05:30 (3x12 Hour Shifts)

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will work independently on the 3rd shift, performing various MRI procedures while ensuring high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans on abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal areas.
• Utilize advanced imaging techniques such as diffusion, gradient echo imaging, and spectroscopy.
• Conduct image post-processing, including multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) and maximum intensity projection (MIP).
• Maintain safety protocols for contrast media administration and patient care.
• Ensure compliance with all departmental policies and protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in MRI procedures.
• ARRT (R) or ARRT (MR) certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with Siemens and GE MRI systems preferred.
• Competency in operating PACS and electronic health record systems, particularly EPIC and Visage.
