Receptionist

Overview Summary: Responsible for answering the company phones and greeting visitors. Serve as the first point of contact for new visitors and callers to the company. Hours Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Key Responsibilities Answer the phones in a friendly, helpful, and efficient manner. Greet vendors, customers, applicants, etc., and direct them to the appropriate company personnel. Keep track of the whereabouts of key personnel and process their calls and messages. Open and distribute company mail and assist Executive Assistant and accounting area with filing. Provide back-up support for Executive Assistant. May have certain accounting / bookkeeping functions. Comply with company policies and procedures. Additional duties as assigned by management. Duties may vary depending on location. Requirements / Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Experience: 1+ year of experience in a customer service, receptionist or similar role. Background in a high volume manufacturing facility preferred. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a hands-on approach to execution. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly on a regular basis. Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours a day. Bend, stand, squat, twist repeatedly. Work Environment: Moderate noise (i.e., business office with computers, phones and printers, light traffic). Ability to work in a confined area.
