POSITION SUMMARY:  

Answers incoming calls and assists the HR department with basic administrative duties.

Essential Functions Statements:  

• Answers and professionally manages incoming calls to the organization’s main phone line, provides general assistance, and routes calls to the appropriate department or team member.
• Provides accurate general information to employees, applicants, donors, customers and members of the general public, including information regarding store and donation locations and how to apply for employment opportunities.
• Greets visitors in a professional and welcoming manner and directs visitors to the appropriate department, meeting location or team member. 
• Safeguards confidential documents, checks, and other sensitive materials.
• Assembles, prepares, and maintains new hire paperwork and employee handbooks for New Hire Orientation.
• Gives information to current employees, such as phone numbers, forms, addresses, meeting locations, etc. 
• Verifies visitors sign in. 
• Keeps track of the elevator code log.
• Prepares USPS mail and UPS packages for departments.
• Assists HR department with basic administrative duties; such as copying and stapling.
• Assists the file technician by filing job applications.
• Keeps the reception area clean and organized. 
• Checks and orders supplies for postage machine. 
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:  

Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred. 

Experience:  Six months to one year related experience.

Computer Skills : MS Office Suite, Web, E-Mail.
