Position Overview As a Store Area Team Leader at OSJL, you will ensure all areas under your responsibility adhere to Company merchandising standards, manage efficient merchandise flow, and provide leadership and support to store teams. You need to be a detail‑oriented professional with a strong understanding of merchandising principles and freight operations, and a motivational leader who can inspire and empower your team. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Profitability:

• Support Company programs flawlessly to maximize revenue and achieve store goals.
• Demonstrate leadership while steering the store in your absence.
• Reconcile daily funds as per store closing procedures.

Backroom Efficiency: • Lead and support an efficient freight flow process, maintain an organized backroom, and achieve a 24‑hour freight turnaround. Technology Utilization: • Leverage technology for scheduling effectiveness and freight management. Inventory & Merchandising Management:

• Partner with the Store Team Leader to maintain optimal inventory levels and proper product placement.
• Lead timely placement of products on the sales floor in compliance with Company merchandising standards.
• Coordinate receiving, inspection, and stocking of merchandise; address shortages or overstocks.

Team Development:

• Recruit, train, and develop store associates.
• Identify and nurture high‑potential associates for future growth.
• Foster a stable, knowledgeable team environment where associates feel valued and empowered.

Store Culture & Customer Service:

• Ensure the store exceeds standards for merchandising, cleanliness, and overall presentation.
• Lead by example, ensuring all operations and visual aspects comply with company policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service, surpassing both company and customer expectations.

Technology & Systems Support HCM processes: associate data, timekeeping, benefits, and LMS operations. Maintain Oracle systems for store‑related expenses. Review Domo Store Spotlight to meet productivity goals. Use ThinkTime for efficient communication and mobile devices for operational support. Qualifications 4+ years of retail management experience, or equivalent education and experience. Proficient in Google Workspace (Sites, Slides, Drive, Docs, Sheets). Preferred experience with HCM and Business Intelligence tools. Work Environment Work primarily in a climate‑controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazards. Long periods of stationary work and movement throughout the shift. Conditions vary across sales area, stockroom/receiving area, and operations office.
