Exciting Opportunity for a Level IV Labor & Delivery Nurse!

Job Description:

- Join a brand new Women & Infants Hospital as a Level IV trained Labor & Delivery nurse.
- 15-bed Labor & Delivery unit, 20-bed High Risk Unit, and 8-bed OB Triage awaits your expertise.
- Must be familiar with:
- Magnesium and insulin drips.
- Advanced NRP certification.
- Advanced external fetal monitoring.
- Opportunity to float to Carmel L&D if needed.
- Embrace adherence to AWHONN guidelines:
- 1:1 patient ratio in active labor.
- Two patients in early, latent labor.
- Play an integral role as:
- Charge nurse for both L&D and the High Risk Unit.
- Baby nurse for deliveries.
- Work 36 hours per week with:
- Every third weekend commitment.
- Holiday rotation.
- Orientation provided for two shifts.
- Commitment to working is essential-no tolerance for calling in.

Credentials Required:

- Current Nursing License (Nursys).
- MMR, Fit Test, Hepatitis B, Influenza Vaccine, Health Statement.
- Driver's License/State ID.
- Required Health History: Varicella, Tdap, 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot).
- Ascension Profile and Professional References.
- Criminal Background Check and EPLS.
- Skills Checklist, Specialty Exam, and Core Competencies.
