Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical – Tulsa, OK 74104

Start Date: August 24, 2026

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (18:45 - 07:15), with options for 36 or 48 hours per week. Every other weekend required. 6:1 patient ratio. 91-day assignment.

Highlights:

• Medical/Surgical unit with telemetry monitoring capabilities
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics with general acute care diagnoses
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Experience with post-catheterization, post-angiogram, IR procedures, and chest tube management
• Shorter length of stay with some clinical decision unit functionality
• Float to similar medical/surgical or telemetry units within scope as needed

Requirements:

• Valid Oklahoma or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• BLS certification required in hand; NIHSS preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with 6:1 patient ratios
• Skills required include telemetry monitoring, blood product administration, central line management, heparin protocols, wound care, and IV management
• Community hospital, LTAC, and trauma center experience preferred
• Charge nurse experience preferred
