• Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,090 - $6,520 (competitive locum tenens pay)
• Setting: Level III NICU, Laborist Unit (hospitalist OB / labor and delivery)
• Location: Mishawaka, Indiana (zip 46545) - Northern Indiana, near the St. Joseph River
• Start Date: As soon as credentialed
• Duration: 13 weeks (potential for ongoing or sporadic coverage)
• Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (7a-7p, 7p-7a, or 24-hour coverage)
• Hours per Week: 36
• On-site Accommodations: Hospital hotel room provided
• Weekend Coverage: At least one weekend per month

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABMS/AOA)
• Active Indiana medical license (or ability to obtain Indiana license promptly)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
• NCC certification in Fetal Heart Monitoring
• Self-Query NPDB report (pulled within 30 days)
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience in OB/GYN hospitalist, laborist, or similar labor and delivery setting
• Clean background and malpractice history highly preferred
• Local candidates within driving distance or Indiana-based locum tenens providers preferred

• Provide hospitalist OB coverage and laborist services, including labor and delivery management and Cesarean sections as needed
• Manage patients in a Level III NICU environment and collaborate with neonatology for perinatal and maternal-fetal care
• Respond to obstetric emergencies, triage acute maternal and fetal conditions, and perform deliveries
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams (anesthesia, neonatology, nursing, and ancillary services)
• Maintain accurate, timely electronic medical record documentation and handoffs for continuity of care
• Participate in scheduled weekend and sporadic coverage as assigned

• Work in one of Northern Indiana's few Level III NICUs-ideal for physicians with NICU and high-risk obstetrics experience
