Utilities Laborer

Essential Responsibilities Perform a variety of general labor tasks to support heavy civil construction, working closely with heavy equipment operators in congested or tight areas to ensure efficient site preparation. Assist with tasks such as trenching, material handling, cutting and cueing conduit piping. Communicate clearly and respectfully with crew members, supervisors, and subcontractors. Promote a culture of safety and productivity by following all company, client, and regulatory safety standards and procedures. Qualifications One year of prior experience working in a mining, utilities, or earthworks environment as a laborer; a background as a track hoe or skid‑steer operator is preferred. Proactive and independent self‑starter who is safety‑focused. Basic understanding of construction site safety practices; OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus. Must be able to pass a pre‑access drug and alcohol test and provide a valid driver’s license. Work Conditions Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3 pm, 8 hours per day. Overtime rates apply after 40 hours per week and could be available at the discretion of the client. Living‑out allowance provided to those who are eligible. This is a long‑term, site‑based opportunity that will require travel.
