Ladera Dentistry is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our full-time team. This position offers an opportunity to provide exceptional patient care in a supportive and professional environment while assisting with a range of dental procedures and office operations.

TitleDental assistant
Job DescriptionSterilize and disinfect dental instruments and equipment to uphold safety standards
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and trays efficiently for dental procedures
Assist dentists and hygienists chairside during examinations and treatments
Take and process digital dental radiographs
Greet and prepare patients for their appointments respectfully and professionally
Clean and maintain treatment rooms following procedures
Record medical/dental histories, vital signs, and treatment information accurately in patient records
Provide postoperative instructions as directed by dental professionals
Assist with patient education and office production goals
Comply with OSHA guidelines and office policies to ensure a safe working environment
Perform additional duties as assigned by Dr. Mai Ly or Back Office Team Leader
Salary Rangefull-time $18 - $25 per hour

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

RequirementsPrevious experience as a Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant preferred
Ability to take digital dental radiographs
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of OSHA and safety protocols in a dental setting
Proficient with dental office software and basic computer skills
PreferencesExperience with general practice, endodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics, oral surgery, orthodontics
Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology, digital impressions, intraoral photography, and nomad X-ray equipment
Experience with scheduling, treatment planning, and dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Dental Intel
