We’ll welcome you into the office more frequently initially so you can get comfortable with our team and systems. \n \n Note \n An active Illinois law license, 2 years of experience as an associate attorney, and 1 year of workers’ compensation law experience are required. We’re looking for an attorney ready to bring their experience to a focused defense practice. \n \n Job Description \n \n Defend workers’ compensation claims and help develop strategies for efficient resolution. \n Evaluate case records, research legal issues, and prepare legal documents and correspondence. \n Prepare for and participate in hearings, depositions, and settlement discussions. \n Keep clients informed about case developments, legal options, and next steps. \n Collaborate with our attorneys while managing deadlines, case documentation, and billable time. \n \n \n Qualifications \n \n Active Illinois law license. \n 2 years of experience as an associate attorney. \n 1 year of workers’ compensation law experience. \n Ability to meet our Chicago hybrid schedule and applicable case-related travel needs. \n Workers’ compensation defense and legal billing experience are preferred. \n \n \n Why You Will Love Working Here \n Your experience will contribute directly to our clients’ defense and the progress of their cases.
