Full-Stack Software Engineer

Job Description We are looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join the Software Engineering team of an EPC firm onsite in Covington, Louisiana. This team is focused on developing custom internal applications that improve efficiency across the company's engineering organization. The ideal candidate is somebody who is a true full-stack engineer with hands-on experience with Python Django on the back end and React on the front end. This role offers the opportunity to work on a mix of new product development, feature enhancements, and ongoing support for existing applications. The team operates in an Agile environment using six-week sprint cycles and maintains a highly collaborative culture where engineers work closely together to solve problems and deliver impactful products. You'll start your day with a 15-minute kick off meeting and then spend the majority of your time designing, developing, and deploying software. With approximately 90% of your time dedicated to hands-on coding and minimal meetings, this is an ideal opportunity for an engineer who enjoys building software, collaborating with peers, and seeing their work directly improve business operations. This team works a 9/80 schedule. This pay is dependent on experience but starts around $45/hr.
