Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager/SupervisorThe Pavilion at Queens is committed to improving our patients' quality of life & autonomy through innovative rehabilitative services, and an exceptional level of client-centered care and attention. We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager/Supervisor to join our Rehab Unit at our skilled nursing facility in Flushing Queens!Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:Oversee the total care and safety of all residents and employees for assigned unit during shiftSupervises and assists all nursing personnel in their work performance when necessaryPerforms duties of unit nurse if necessaryDocument patient histories, administers medication and care as needed, coordinate necessary appointmentsMonitor residents to ensure that the plans are being followed and that the resident's and family needs are being metPlan, coordinate, and direct all nursing staff on all shifts on the assigned unitsMinimum Qualifications include:Currently licensed as Registered Nurse in New York StateMinimum 1 year supervisory/unit manager experience in a long-term health care settingStrong leadership and management skillsHas knowledge of Federal and State health regulationsExperience with care plans and strong documentation skillsFlexibility in work hoursBLS CertificationRN LicenseBenefits:401K (100% Vested at the end of the year)Affordable Health InsuranceLow cost vision insuranceFree Dental insuranceDisability insuranceFlexible schedulePaid sick timePaid time offPaid training
