Activities Director - Madison, OH

We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Activities Director to join our team at Meadow Falls of Madison, a resort-style senior living community offering Assisted Living, Memory Care, for seniors.

As an Activities Director , you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a variety of recreational, social, and therapeutic activities designed to enhance the quality of life for our residents. Activities Director will work closely with residents, families, and staff to create a warm and welcoming environment that promotes socialization, engagement, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive activities program that meets the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents

• Plan and execute daily activities, including games, crafts, outings, and entertainment events

• Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for intergenerational programming and community outreach

• Recruit and train volunteers to assist with activities and provide support to residents

• Maintain accurate records of activities and resident participation

• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the activities program, making adjustments as needed

• Activities Director will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents and staff

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 years of experience in activities direction or a related field

• Activities Director should possess strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Familiarity with activity planning and implementation, with a focus on senior living environments

Working Environment:

• Activities Director will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on resident-centered care

• Regular exposure to seniors with varying levels of physical and cognitive abilities

• Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
