Orthopedic RN Travel Assignment

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Orthopedic RN for a 13-week travel assignment in a high-volume orthopedic unit. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional patient care in a dynamic hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to orthopedic patients in accordance with established protocols.
• Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and perform procedures such as Foley catheterization and CPM application.
• Monitor patient progress, update EMR documentation, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Assist with early mobilization, nerve block pump management, and other specialty surgical treatments.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes and maintain unit standards.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with at least 2 years of recent experience in an acute care hospital.
• Minimum 1 year of orthopedic or med/surg nursing experience.
• BLS certification mandatory; ACLS preferred.
• Proficiency in Meditech electronic medical records.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team-oriented setting.
