Adheres to customer specifications and delivery requirements, while working in accordance with Pregis policies and procedures.The QA Inspector ensures constant quality monitoring during production. Responsible for maintaining continuous product quality during production and guiding workflow by monitoring packaging work force's quality inspections and packaging process. Performs quality inspections at regularly prescribed intervals and documents accordingly across multiple production lines. Helps employees in the department perform their duties correctly. Helps team operate at or above designated run speeds.Ability to take coaching well and interact respectfully with others. Promote a positive teamwork culture and champion company core values. Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing (Spanish bilingual a plus). Knowledgeable of safety requirements and guidelines in manufacturing/warehouse environment. Ability to follow standardized work instructions. Ability to understand detailed written and/or oral instructions. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. Ability to read a ruler, scale, and micrometer. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality. Ability to work Overtime as needed daily, or weekends based upon business needs.Exposure to moving equipment. Inside work. Heat may exceed 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Humidity may exceed 80%. Noise may exceed 85dB+. Personal Protective Equipment require.Frequent standing, stooping, sitting. Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling (up to 45 lbs.). Occasional typing/keyboarding.Full time. Shift work. Overtime expected per business demand.High school education or equivalent technical school preferred. 1 to 3 years' experience in a Manufacturing environment and/or inspection role preferred. Knowledge of packaging production SOPs and Quality Standards a plus.The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Pregis's total compensation package. The hourly base pay range for this role is estimated to be $18-$23 per hour.Compensation details listed in US job postings reflect base salary only and do not include benefits.
