X-Ray Technologist - Rockville Centre, NY
We are seeking a dedicated professional to perform radiographic diagnostic imaging procedures. This contract position is based in Rockville Centre, NY, with a requirement for per diem work on Fridays. The role involves assisting physicians with diagnostic imaging and ensuring optimal patient care using safe and efficient processes.
Location: Rockville Centre, NY (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract/Part-Time - Per Diem Fridays 08:00am-04:30pm
Compensation: Pay Range: $40.00 Per HR
Requirements:
- Experience in performing radiographic diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Familiarity with fluoro guided injections and assisting physicians during procedures.
- Ability to operate radiographic equipment to produce diagnostic images.
- Knowledge of radiation protection techniques and safety protocols.
- Strong communication skills to interact with patients and staff.
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Adherence to infection-control policies and protocols.
Qualifications:
- Associates or bachelor's degree in applied radiologic science or certification from an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Licensed and registered in the state of New York.
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Proficiency in operating radiographic equipment and understanding of radiation safety.
- Experience in patient transfers and positioning techniques.
- Knowledge of fluoroscopic imaging equipment preferred.
