MRI Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Days, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with call required after hours and on weekends (1 day/week and 1 weekend/month).

The MRI Technologist is responsible for providing timely imaging services to both inpatient and outpatient clients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include the ability to change imaging parameters to study soft tissue, arterial systems, brain, spine, joints, and extremities with or without the use of contrast media.

• Perform MRI procedures on patients as per departmental protocols.
• Adjust imaging parameters to achieve the best diagnostic results.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Collaborate with the Radiologist for the interpretation of images.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to imaging procedures.

• 2+ years of MRI Technologist experience required.
• BLS certification is required.
• MRT and state licensure in New Mexico are required.
• Preferred: Graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) with Magnetic Resonance Imaging Registry (MR) through ARRT.
