Position Title: Recruitment Coordinator (Hybrid) Location: Chicago, IL 60604, USA Duration: 4 months Contract on W2 (possible extension) Work Schedule: 30 hrs./week Position Description: Job Description and Requirements: The Recruitment Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for the organization’s talent acquisition activities, ensuring a positive and efficient candidate experience throughout the hiring process. This temporary, part-time role (approximately 30 hours per week) coordinates interviews, candidate communications, background screening activities, job postings, and pre-employment documentation. The position serves as a key liaison between candidates, hiring managers, Human Resources, and external recruitment partners while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with employment requirements. The Recruitment Coordinator supports recruitment workflows within HR systems and assists with offer preparation, EEO documentation, and other hiring-related activities. Main Duties: Meeting job candidates onsite for interviews and other recruitment steps. Role will need to work onsite to meet candidates, but can work remotely 60% of time if there no specific onsite tasks required. Scheduling interviews with candidates and consensus meetings with internal decision makers. Coordinating criminal background checks between potential new hires and background screening firm. Posting open jobs on various job search sites, such as APTA, COMTO, Indeed, etc. Completing EEO paperwork, as needed. Formatting job postings in ERP system (i.e., Infor), as needed. Conducting personal background checks, as needed. Drafting offer letters, as needed. Experience Required: A minimum of one to three (1-3) years’ experience required with human resources, office management, customer service, sales, administrative support, or event coordination (previous recruitment support or HR support is most preferred). Expert proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Teams is required. Experience with HRIS or ERP is required. Experience with recruitment is a plus. Education Requirements: Knowledge, skills, and abilities equivalent to an Associate’s degree in human resources, business, or related field. Or equivalent related work experience to an Associate’s degree. Skills: Interpersonal Relations: Demonstrates the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with individuals at all levels through effective communication, collaboration, and professionalism. Organizational Skills: Demonstrates an ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy. Office work primarily. Minimal external work or occasional exposure to physically demanding, unpleasant, strenuous, and/or hazardous situations. Internal Contacts: Has frequent contact with HR, senior leaders, and hiring managers. External Contacts: Has frequent contact with recruitment sources, vendors, university staff, and vendors. Has frequent contact with job candidates. Additional Info: Hours: 30 hours weekly (working preferably 5 days a week but may be OK with someone who can only do 4 days a week). Hybrid schedule – 60% remote, as long as there is not a need for them to be onsite (this person will be responsible for meeting candidates onsite in person). #J-18808-Ljbffr
