Caregiver Home Helpers of Knoxville is currently hiring for full-time and part-time Caregivers . This home care position earns a competitive wage, depending on experience. We offer a $2/hour shift differential for weekend work. As a Caregiver, you get to help seniors and individuals with disabilities stay in their own homes and live with independence. You do more than just assist with meals, housekeeping, bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, transportation, and appointments. While those tasks are important, you also provide direct care and socialization as you support them in visiting with friends, attending events, or working on hobbies. Staying active and socially engaged is critical for health and well‑being and you help to provide that companionship. You make sure that they are mentally stimulated, physically active, and well‑nourished, encouraging independence as much as possible. Additionally, you care for children in the home as needed when their parents are ill or disabled. You ensure that their homes are safe environments, reducing the likelihood of accidents. You are meticulous about providing prompt medication reminders. You report any changes or concerns promptly and provide detailed and accurate records of patient care. In this way, you provide real peace of mind for our clients and their families. Keeping the home running as normally as possible is your ultimate goal.
