BG Staffing is seeking a reliable and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to support an apartment community in Silver City, NM 88061. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining a clean and functional community, and can handle a variety of maintenance tasks with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders efficiently and professionally.
• Perform general maintenance tasks, including:
  • Basic plumbing repairs
  • Electrical troubleshooting
  • Appliance diagnostics and repair
  • Carpentry, drywall, and general upkeep
• Assist with unit turns and make-ready preparation.
• Maintain community grounds, common areas, and amenities.
• Respond to resident requests with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of general maintenance functions.
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
