Pediatrics Nurse Practitioner

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join our clinic in Oakdale, Louisiana. The provider will deliver comprehensive primary healthcare services to pediatric patients, including infants, children, and adolescents. This role involves diagnosing and treating illnesses, conducting physical exams, providing preventive care, and educating patients and families while working closely with physicians and clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments for pediatric patients.
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in infants, children, and adolescents.
Develop and implement treatment and care plans based on patient needs.
Provide preventive care services, including immunizations and wellness visits.
Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Ensure adherence to clinical guidelines, medical best practices, and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral Degree in Nursing (MSN, DNP, or related field)
Licensed Nurse Practitioner in the state of Louisiana
Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
Strong clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-based healthcare environment
Excellent communication and patient education skills

Preferred Qualifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification
Prior experience in pediatric primary care or pediatric clinic setting
