Job Details Job Location: Cincinnati, OH 45202. Salary Range: $30.00 - $35.00 Hourly. Nicola's Ristorante is a renowned fine dining establishment situated just north of Downtown in Cincinnati's historic Over-the-Rhine neighborhood. With over 30 years of operation, it has become a staple of the city's culinary scene. We are looking for energetic, passionate individuals to help deliver a special, curated experience to each guest and continue our legacy of outstanding hospitality. Servers attend to guests during a meal, helping them place their order and making sure they get their food and beverages in a timely manner. They greet guests and engage in friendly conversation with them to cultivate a hospitable, welcoming environment. Servers must be knowledgeable about the food and wine on the menu so they can guide guests through a memorable dining experience only Nicola's can create. Schedule: Closed Sundays (Except Easter and Mother's Day Brunch) Qualifications Experience in the hospitality industry as a server Prior experience in a fine dining establishment is preferred Excellent written and oral communication skills In-depth knowledge of wine and food items on the menu Must be friendly, attentive, and able to handle guest needs effectively Collaboration with other servers, kitchen staff, and hosts is vital for smooth service The ability to address customer complaints and resolve issues calmly and effectively is important. Accuracy in taking orders and handling payments is essential. Maintaining a positive and professional demeanor, even during busy periods, is crucial. Punctuality and the ability to work scheduled shifts are necessary.
