This is a Part Time Position. You must be available to work Monday-Friday 5:45 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.GENERAL PURPOSEThe Warehouse & Ingredient Specialist at Beehive Meals plays a pivotal role in the preparation and packaging of high-quality freezer meals. This position requires individual responsibility for putting away deliveries and supplying ingredients daily to production; a critical role to ensuring the consistent supply of high-quality ingredients needed in meal production.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESPreferred: At least six months of experience in inventory, receiving, warehouse, food production, procurement support, or a similar environment.Placement and Inventory Operations:Maintain and update raw material inventory to ensure adequate supplies are available.Resolve any issues or discrepancies with orders and deliveries.Update procurement-related data and maintain records of purchases.Quality Control:Put away food orders and rotate ingredients to product quality (first-in/first-out)Report any deviations or issues promptly to the production supervisor.Sanitization and Cleanliness:Ensure compliance with food safety standards and company policies.Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, regular handwashing and proper glove usage.Teamwork:Collaborate effectively with production team members to forecast production needs.Communicate openly to maintain a harmonious and efficient work environment.Safety:Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly to supervisors.PHYSICAL/SENSORY DEMANDS:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
