American Traveler is hiring a Med Surg Renal LPN with 1+ year acute care experience for a night shift travel contract in Dayton, Ohio.

Details:

• 22-bed Medical Surgical Renal unit at a hospital setting
• Patient ratios of 1:5-6
• Night shift, 4x12 hours (19:00-07:00)
• Epic charting experience required
• Floating required, including to other campus locations within 10-15 miles of the main campus
• Must be available to work every other weekend and holiday

Requirements:

• Current LPN/LVN license required if applicable
• BLS certification through AHA required
• Minimum 1 year of acute care (hospital setting) experience required
• LTAC experience also accepted
• IV certification or proof of education and competency in IV therapy skills required
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:5-6 required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Skills in starting and maintaining IVs required
• Cardiac monitoring and emergency response experience required
• Telemetry monitoring experience required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred

Additional Information:

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Renal unit including IV therapy, phlebotomy, and cardiac/telemetry monitoring
• May float within the hospital or to nearby Premier Health campuses based on skill set and census needs
• Maximum of 14 days RTO allowed per contract, with no schedule requests or RTO negotiated after an offer is made
• Previous Premier Health employees or agency staff not extended due to tenure must wait 6 months before applying as a traveler
• Local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted for this position
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this role
