Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and functional respiratory tests, monitor patient progress, and support the care team in developing and adjusting treatment plans.
• Administer prescribed respiratory therapies and monitor patient responses; document outcomes and communicate changes to the team.
• Perform phlebotomies and IV starts/removals as necessary and appropriate for the patient care plan.
• Educate patients and families on administering treatments and using respiratory equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, equipment status, and patient responses; ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols.

Requirements

• Active Wisconsin license to practice respiratory therapy.
• NICU experience required.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 pm–7:00 am) with every other weekend (Fri–Sun) and holiday rotation as part of the assignment.
• Relevant clinical experience in a hospital setting for respiratory therapy.
