Job Description
INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY - RN

Schedule:
Day Shift - 5x8

Assignment Details:
Guaranteed Hours: 40
Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements:
- Current RN license in the state
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- At least one year of experience in critical care, emergency, cath lab, or interventional radiology
- Certifications specific to areas of clinical specialty preferred (e.g., RCIS, NIH Stroke Scale), IV certification

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing invasive interventional procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Administer medications as ordered and maintain sterile techniques during procedures.
- Act as a patient advocate by anticipating the needs of the patient and interventionalist.
- Monitor patients for complications and provide appropriate nursing interventions as needed.
