Hiring: Junior Business Analyst

Job Title : Junior Business Analyst (W2 Contract On-site/Hybrid) Location: Virginia Work Arrangement: On-site / Hybrid Employment Type: W2 Contract Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Junior Business Analyst to join our team on a W2 contract. The ideal candidate will work alongside business and technical teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and contribute to project execution. This role is ideal for candidates who are eager to build their career in business analysis within a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. Assist in evaluating current business processes and recommend improvements. Prepare functional documentation, user stories, and business requirement documents (BRDs). Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Business, IT, and Operations. Support data analysis, reporting, and dashboard preparation. Participate in Agile ceremonies, user acceptance testing (UAT), and project meetings. Maintain project documentation and ensure requirements are clearly communicated. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus. Basic knowledge of SQL, JIRA, or Power BI is preferred but not mandatory. Preferred Skills Strong attention to detail.
