Position Description

• Create, Modify, and update construction drawings relating to jobs, including but not limited to, exterior structure of commercial buildings.
• Utilization of AutoCAD files to produce quality shop drawing for different divisions

• Point of contact to assist Project Managers with drawings to meet the needs of jobs
• Work independently and with a team on projects (drawings)
• Assisting other team members in work production
• Communicating with operations to ensure drawing meet the needs of production
• Revise drawings whether you created them or need to help a team member
• Other tasks as may be assigned by supervisor

Position Requirements

Experience: AutoCAD Drafting Experience in a professional setting

Skills: English speaking, bilingual preferred

Abilities/Requirements:

• Ability to read Architectural and Structural Drawings
• Must be able to manage time and deadlines
• Beginner to Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills
• Proven ability to self-manage and produce quality drawings that reflect attention to detail.
• Proven ability to effectively interact and work with team members and operations on projects
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be able to work at least 40 hours per week and overtime when necessary
• Must be looking for full time employment with a desire to advance within the company

Education Required

High school diploma or GED. AutoCAD Certificate, Drafting or similar degree or training
