Job Title: Radiology Technologist – Urgent Care (Day Shift, Part‑time, Fridays 7:00am–7:30pm) Location: 3648 W Anthem Way, Anthem, Arizona (MOB) Job Summary Under the direction of a radiologist, this position performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, requires independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative, and may provide coverage at additional urgent care sites as needed. Responsibilities Review patient identification, orders, and history to ensure accurate patient, procedure, and imaging site. Transport patients to and from the examination room and assist them into position using safe patient handling techniques. Perform radiology procedures and observe patients during the procedure to ensure safety and comfort. Administer contrast materials as required and initiate emergency response to contrast reactions. Obtain and evaluate images for technical quality, including appropriate marking and annotation. Utilize RIS, PACS, and ancillary image management systems to coordinate daily workflow. Maintain equipment in efficient operating order, perform required quality control testing, and coordinate repairs and maintenance with service. Participate in orientation, training, and in‑servicing of staff as needed. Maintain an orderly, clean, and safe environment for patients and staff. Maintain stock and inventory as assigned and perform other duties as required. Education Associate’s Degree (preferred). High School Diploma or GED with completion of an ARRT‑accredited radiography program (required). Military radiography training is accepted as a qualifying education (required). Experience Successful completion of radiologic training (required). Licenses and Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) – required. ARRT Radiology Technician License – ARRT (R) credential and licensure must be provided prior to start date. Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRTLC) or Arizona Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license – required.
