Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Travel RN to join the Emergency Department team for a 13-week assignment. Must possess EPIC system proficiency, acute care experience, and be able to work night shifts in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients in a busy ED setting.
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system accurately for documentation and orders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Follow hospital protocols, including dress code with navy blue scrubs, and adhere to safety standards.
• Manage patient flow efficiently, including float responsibilities to other units as needed.
• Support patient advocacy and education during critical, high-stress situations.

Qualifications:

• Valid registered nursing license, with eligibility for review if pending.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience.
• Proficient in EPIC electronic health records.
• Ability to work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Strong clinical skills in emergency care, triage, and rapid assessment.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
