Job Responsibilities\*\* \* Constructs, erects, installs, and repairs structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard using carpenter's hand tools and power tools. \* Studies blueprints, sketches, or building plans for information pertaining to type of material required, dimensions of structure or fixture, and recommendations for fabrication and installation. \* Selects specified type of lumber or other materials. \* Prepares layouts, measures, cuts, or shapes wood, plastic, fiberglass, or drywall using saws, chisels, and planes. \* Assembles cut and shaped materials and fastens them together with nails, dowel pins, screws, or glue. \* Installs structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, trims, and hardware, using carpenters' hand and power tools. \* Erects scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level. \* May perform other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications\*\* \* High School Diploma or GED preferred. \* Minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a Carpenter in a commercial or industrial setting. \* Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings. \* Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, tools, and equipment. \* Ability to perform mathematical calculations relevant to carpentry tasks. \* Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. \* Ability to work independently and as part of a team. \* Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. \* Must be able to stand, walk, climb, and stoop for extended periods. \* Must adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.**Company Overview:**Primoris Energy Services is a major direct-hire contractor in the U.S. delivering self-performed turnkey industrial construction and EPC services.
