About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP, Market Medical Practice to lead and provide clinical oversight to all clinical staff within the applicable market. The successful candidate will work in partnership with the Market Vice President to manage and execute market goals, including clinical operations, total cost of care, care model OPEX, and service performance goals. This role is pivotal in leading local teams and partnering with centralized functions to enhance and maximize the strategic reach of the care model. The VP, Market Medical Practice will also engage with senior leaders across the organization in operational, clinical, and strategic growth/business development. Candidates for this role must have a graduate degree from an accredited medical college, American Board of Medical Specialties certification in a major primary care specialty field, and a current valid medical license. A minimum of 8 years' of clinical experience, with a focus on managing diverse and complex patient populations, is required. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years' of leadership experience in clinical or medical management, with a proven track record in leading value-based care initiatives and a strong understanding of quality measures and population health management. Experience in a value-based or risk-bearing healthcare setting, as well as a Master's degree in a related field, is preferred. The role demands a leader with a passion for high-quality, value-based care, and the ability to manage a large distributed workforce with empathy and a focus on continuous improvement.
