Banner Occupational Health and Wellness, a dedicated full-service occupational health provider, is looking for a dynamic Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to help us grow our services in the Phoenix Metro Area, the fifth-largest metro area in the US. Take your career to a new level! This is a remarkable opportunity to join a large, multistate occupational health program and add your knowledge and skill to our collegial team of Board Certified Occupational Medicine Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers and amazing support staff. Our Occupational Medicine Provider will perform baseline and annual physical exams, evaluate, treat, and follow up on industrial injuries and non-industrial medical conditions, infections and hazardous material exposures. Required Qualifications: NP or PA-C designation (AANP/NCCPA) Current prescribing privileges, including a DEA license for controlled substance required Current AZ license or eligibility ACLS/BLS required Experience in occupational medicine, urgent care or orthopedics is preferred, but new grads will be considered Mentorship available Certification to perform NRCME (DOT) driver examinations required Ability to read and interpret EKGs and exercise treadmill stress tests is a plus or obtain training within 6 months of employment Schedule: M - F | 7:00a-4:00p | Call 1:4 Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, vision and pharmacy plans Paid time off plans Eligible for benefits coverage within 30 days Financial savings resources Career advancement and optimal work/life balance Employee Discounts As an equal opportunity employer, Banner Health values culture and encourages applications from individuals with varied experiences and backgrounds.
