Medical Assistant - Primary Care PracticeWe are seeking a dedicated and proactive Medical Assistant to join Primary Care practice in Dedham/Westwood, MA. This role will be primarily administrative, focusing on tasks such as scheduling appointments, insurance verifications, handling phone inquiries, and processing prior authorizations. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented and organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care.Location: Dedham/Westwood, MASchedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday)Duration: 13 weeksKey Responsibilities:Manage patient appointments, including scheduling and rescheduling as needed.Confirm insurance coverage and handle related inquiries.Process and follow-up on prior authorizations for medications, treatments, and procedures.Answer and triage phone calls, providing accurate information to patients or directing them to the appropriate team member.Maintain patient records, assist with front office duties, and ensure smooth clinic operations.Qualifications:Active Medical Assistant Certification is required.Experience in a Primary Care Practice preferred.Local candidates only within a 20-mile radius of Dedham/Westwood, MA.BILH Coversheet is required with application submission.COVID Vaccination + Booster and 2024-2025 Flu Vaccine required at the time of submission (declinations will not be accepted).
