The Facilities Engineer I/II/III/Sr. is responsible for leading production and facilities engineering to deliver technical excellence in engineering designs, processes, and procedures so that the department meets business goals. This position will provide the opportunity of growth and development through mentorship provided by the experience of a diverse engineering department.TheFacilities Engineer I/II/III/Sr. responsibilities include but are not limited to:Providing technical expertise in all phases of mechanical designSupporting the design and development of engineering projects as they relate to Production facilities, including natural gas processing units and auxiliary piping systems, equipment specifications including compression, filter/separators, and dehydration equipment as well as pipeline and measurement designProvide reliable cost estimates for equipment and installation of various production pad facilities and maintenance-related projectsSupport Operations personnel with training on the use and maintenance of equipment/facilitiesDevelop operational guidelines as needed for facility operationAssistance during the construction and commissioning of projects, operations support, and collaboration with other internal or external engineering personnelEstablishing and maintaining a sole philosophy of design that meets or exceeds all applicable governmental and industry codes and specificationsEnsuring that facility designs are uniform, safe, and effective in design and operationRequired Experience and Skills:2+ years of experience in engineeringBachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Petroleum / Chemical)Valid driver's license required.Understanding of Process Flow & Equipment Used For Separation of Fluids On Common Oil and Gas Production WellsUnderstanding of ASME, ANSI, API, ISA, AMPP (formerly NACE) Specs and StandardsUnderstanding of Thermodynamics & Fluid DynamicsHazard Mitigation and Root Cause Analysis ExperienceUnderstanding of engineering drawing packages to include Isometrics, Orthographics, P&IDs and PFDsEconomic Acumen to include prior cost and project managementCommunication and Presentation SkillsTechnical writing capabilities to include Design Specifications and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) generationExtreme Ownership MentalityAble to take complex workflows/ideas and communicate them concisely to achieve resultsSelf-Starter / Team PlayerAble to Work Independently as neededAbility to travel 15-20% of the timeAbility to work flexible work hours inclusive of weekends and holidays as needed9/80 work schedulePreferred Experience:Prior experience in the oil and gas industryEquipment design/manufacturing or oil field facility constructionAdvanced Microsoft Office Suite Experience to Include VizioFamiliarization with: Ariel PerformanceAspenAutoCADBlue BeamComputerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)ProMaxSalesforceScada SystemsSmartsheetSynergyPreferred Location:The job is hybrid, meaning it combines field work, remote work, and office work in the Pittsburgh, PA and the surrounding operational area.Selected incumbent will be placed into the position that best suits their abilities and experience level.EQT Corporation and its subsidiaries is an Equal Opportunity Employer -- Disabilities/Veterans.
